Stretch for Success
A few complaints have popped up among Milers about muscle aches, cramps, injuries and other symptoms of stretch neglect. Runner’s World ran a brief yet instructive article last year listing a few good dynamic stretches (controlled leg movements) to do before a run (and a suggestion or two for ones after). They’re simple yet effective ways to avoid injury and pain pre- and post-run.
