Now held at Crazy Creek Gliderport, just a few miles north of Middletown, in beautiful Lake County. Enjoy wide-open spaces and a few tiny rolling hills. The whole family can get involved in this fun event. Watch the kids compete in the 1k at 8 AM and then warm up with some organized pre-race exercises before hitting the road yourself! |

| Race time: 8 AM sharp for the 1k! For Kids Ages 5 thru 10: They have a chance to participate in their own race. Parents are welcome to accompany smaller children on the sideline, but don't run thru the finish chute- that is reserved for your little runner! This 1k event is tough enough for kids to challenge themselves, but short enough for short attention spans. There will be ribbons awarded 3 deep in each age division at the grown-up awards ceremony. After the kids cross the finish line, Parents can check them into the Wildflower Corral, where they will enjoy a cool down drink before participating in exciting relay races (while parents run their own race)! Register child by 5-22-09 to ensure they get an event t-shirt |
