About Us

Founded in 2003, Founded in 2003, the Lake County Milers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit running club serving Lake County, California. Our club is an affiliate member of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA)" Through the RRCA, we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization under the group exemption”

The Milers are dedicated to promoting physical fitness through running and walking in a supportive and fun atmosphere. For an annual membership fee ($30 family, $15 individual, or $10 student, junior high through college; seniors 70 years and up are free) you can become part of the friendliest, most health-conscious group around! Do you need motivation? Try having 10 buddies waiting for you at a walk or a run. It works — just ask a Miler! Centered in southern/central Lake County, the Milers offer various walking and jogging groups through the week (see our calendar). Small groups often train for specific racing events held in Lake and neighboring counties. Whether you are a beginner or a long-time runner/walker, the Lake County Milers have something to offer everyone. The Milers support (and are supported by) other running/walking clubs in the area, including the Empire Runners and the North Coast Striders.
