Check out our Lake County Milers Mileage Challenge
In addition to weekly club runs and walks, the Lake County Milers host a number of events, including races and fun runs/walks, throughout the year:
Save the date!! Spring Has Sprung Oct 4th , 2020
Due to the Covid virus our "Spring" race is in October this year!
The Milers’ Spring Has Sprung is among the most exciting races in Lake County California and a must for those who like a timed event where all pre-registered participants get an event shirt. Top three winners in all age/gender categories receive medals and additional prizes awarded to overall winners, 3-deep Male/Female.
Special Club-Only Activities 2020
In addition to these events, Lake County Milers host other Member-only fun activities, Summer Pizza Runs and get-togethers throughout the year:
Alexa:"I strongly encourage everyone to actively participate in the Lake County Milers Two Month Mileage Challenge. Record your weekly miles (walk/run/jog). Make sure you hold yourself accountable. Get a friend involved (from afar of course)."
Pizza and Ice Cream & Fro-Yo Runs
These are short and fun runs/walks (2-3-4-miles). Mellow, friendly and untimed, these runs and walks are intended to keep members and their guests in touch over the summer, when vacations, trips, and family visits often take precedence over regularly scheduled runs and walks. Look for details about where and when each run/walk takes place in the Miler newsletters, or email us.
